Typical German stuff? Actually that's common misconception
We don't eat much Sauerkraut at all, and Weißbier is most popular in Bayern (south-east area), not all over Germany, hehe...

haha, well i was not sure if ppl here in the forum could handle currywurst - thats the one we have in berlin ;)

oh, i forgot to mention the sauermagen

...and the pinkeln from the northern areas - especially around xmas

but still, well its hard to say whats typical german, as far we had lots of influences from turkey, india, russia and so on over the last years ...maybe buletten und kartoffelsalat?!

    Hey folks,
i'm also really looking forward to it! Its always a pleassure to be a part of Dan's ideas ;-)
By the way: one of the typical meals in my region is "Kässpätzle" which is a special type of noodles with cheese and onions! Just had it yesterday evening :-) Or "Maultaschen", but please don't ask what it is haha :-)
    Cheers
